Chelan! Here are a couple little boaters on Grandad's boat. James signed "boat" all weekend long.
Reuben and Daddy hang out in Chelan.
I'm pretty sure that some of my favorite pictures ever are of Josiah eating ice cream.
More Chelan love.
Sweet Baby James turns TWO!!
Happy faces, ready to go the fair...
One day, Mercy remembered that she has jewelry.
Jewelry makes the brothers laugh.
Goodbye, Summer!
I miss coming here to post actual thoughts. Currently, I'm not finding that I have too many of them. I'm still kind of surprised when I realize that I have 6 children. Sometimes it just doesn't seem like that many... when we're home and the big boys are jumping on the trampoline, and Mercy and Josiah are playing their favorite game about some children that get lost in the woods with no mommy (They call it "Lucy in the Forest"), and James is following Bob or I around, pantomiming everything we do and Reuben is sleeping or eating or playing in the bouncy seat and no one has to be anywhere at any particular time.
That was pretty much our summer.
Fall brings the return to our school schedule and sick people have doctor appointments and boys with crowded mouths have tooth extractions and soccer three times a week. And having 6 kids does seem like a lot. Or maybe it's the 3 that are 3 and under crowd. I've been through months like this before when I'm pretty sure that no one is getting enough of what they need from me.
We'll adjust.
