good medicine. Right?
I have a little cold. Not much to speak of really. But you know how it is when you first wake up in the morning?
Extra scratchy voice and quite a few coughs before you can really start talking. Waking up knowing this is probably the worst you will feel all day. A hot shower would help.
That was me this morning. And like I said, I'm really not that sick.
But four year old Mercy came in to find me in bed still at around 8am, warming up my voice in a not-so-melodious way. Oh, I had also been up in the night with Sweet Baby James who just might be growing a tooth.
Without waiting to be asked to do a thing, Mercy took off to the kitchen with an empty glass from my bedside table, calling over her shoulder that she would get me some fresh water. She may have even put her little hand on my face before she traipsed off.
I just wanted to remember this.
I'm so thankful for being noticed and cared for like this by someone who is still learning not to do obnoxious things to get my attention.
Today I was humbled and blessed by her attentions toward me.

Good job, sweet Mercy!
Rebecca~ Saying a quick prayer for you that you will get the rest you need and feel better SOON!
What a sweetie! She is learning from her mommy to be a great caregiver!
What a wonderful memory you've put down here. I am so glad that Mercy has learned to love so well.
Good job Mercy!
Good training brings blessings to her parents. I am so glad you see those blessings so soon.
Praying for some sleep. Gumomile works wonders for teething, it has served me well. I get it at the Co Op.
I have tears in my eyes! Yay for sweet Mercy. So happy for you to have received that blessing.
And "Gripe Water" worked for Caleb when he teethed. (for his reflux too!)
Love you, Rebecca, and praying for God to heal you quickly.
That was from me, Camee. :)
so cute.
Rebecca I am looking for your phone number. I messaged you on fb but I don't know if you ever go on that anymore. Nathanael will be down for a visit next week.
