A bird pooped on my head within the first five minutes of our arrival. It wasn't a zoo bird like a flamingo or a peacock.
Just a crow.
Thankfully, Heather was able to fix me up with some baby wipes.

How fun! All I could think about the whole time I was looking at this post was how that bird pooped on your head though! That's happened to me before. Yuck.
Glad you had a great time and that the poop did not ruin your mood, that oune would have been really tough for me. What a great example for your children!
