Almost Winter 2010

It snowed!

The view out the front window

Getting ready for our sno-venture. James is being a good sport. He can't move at all in that thing.

All five. Dressed and outside.

Jo being a 'Tow Man. (Snow Man)

Mercy chats with Snow Lady.

A casualty of our long walk in the snow.

Hot chocolate!

Rosy cheeks and snacks...

Now, if we could just find a hill close enough for sledding...

I am so jealous of all your snow! How fun!

And I love that picture of little James asleep in the sled... I think I have an almost identical one of Steele from a couple of years ago.

Did your snow melt already, Cutzi?! I thought you guys had some up there last week?

We only ever get enough snow worth mentioning every few years here in the lowlands. I LOVE it when we do!!

Yah, it barely stuck around even a day. Very unusual, since we usually get more than everyone else. Seems like all of Washington got snow except for us!

Ah, Cutz... but you had it first (the snow!)

Ours is mainly ice by now, and I'd just rather it melt. Snow is one thing, but ice?

Rebecca~ Love your snow pictures, and James all bundled up like that! And that hot cocoa? I'm pretty sure hot cocoa is my kids' second-favorite thing about the snow! ALWAYS hot cocoa when they come in.

:)

Cute, cute, cute! I want to come and have a sno-venture with you guys. Today.
In lieu of that, I am glad to get to enjoy the pictures.

Love you guys!

Hi all!
How fun to talk to you all here again. It's been a long time for this bloggy but maybe I'll be able to post more often now.
I'd sure like to!

Cutzi, I hope more snow is in your future soon. It's just so cozy!!

And Stacy, my kids would agree with yours. Hot chocolate after being outside in the snow is one of their favorite things. Ever.

Amy, wouldn't that be fun?! I'm so glad to be able to share my pics. Now I want to see some of yours! ;)

I am so glad you posted! What fun! We still have snow but the casualties from the ice are brutal. Good to 'see' you again. I can't believe how big James has gotten.
